General Appearance:
Jo rest on the tale scale for a woman, with long legs, a fit and slim body, for she exercises every day and does swimming at least once a day if she’s able to. She has blonde hair with slight waves; it rests mid way down her back. Blue eyes that hold back no emotion what so ever, and express who she is proudly. On the inside of her left wrist she has a tattoo of two small birds, on her upper arm; near where her elbow connects she got a tattoo of a star.
Talents: A talented musician, smart and witty, a skilled fighter (well kept secret), makes friends easily as quickly as making enemies.
Interests: Music, reading, swimming, getting a degree at uni obviously, watching the sunset.
Personality: Johanna, who is commonly known as Jo, is quiet a spirited young woman. She’s noted to be smart, witty and charismatic upon first meeting her, which is a good thing. Jo makes friend’s quite quickly for she’s very friendly and likes to be friend almost anyone. Growing up she was shy at first, but her personality quickly took a change as she got older.
Jo can easily switch her personality to be completely opposite in her personality. She’s quiet patient. But even she has a limit till she open lid to that box and light the fuse. Most of the time, it’s her family and friends, if something bad happens to them in any way then be warned for making her angry will lead to unpleasant thing. Jo, half the time, is in some sort of fight or pissed off at a downworlder or other shadowhunters for taking bad about her lack of being a shadowhunter.
Out worldly Jo also maintains a restraint (as much as she can) in emotions when faced in an emotional situation, and almost every time she keeps a cool and calm manner due to the following reason. Jo goes to church every Sunday; she wears a silver cross around her neck and says a prayer every night before she sleeps. She even prays for anything, everything and everyone – even people she doesn’t like and despise. Her belief is God can forgive a person’s sins and crimes.
Weaknesses: Being compared to a shadowhunter – just because she has no marks does not mean she can’t fight and be as good as one, her temper when her patience runs out, her wittiness can sometimes get the better of her – she can be cynical and dry witty depending on the situation, her mother is the most important person in Jo’s life,
Strengths: A skilled figher – reason is Jo may have been raised in the mundane world and lived a normal life, she was taught how to fight from a young age by her mother, she’s just as good as a shadow hunter with marks. She’s smart and quick at discovering things most would miss. Can manipulate and gain what she wants and when she wants it most of the time without things getting ugly and dirty.

History: Jo’s parents, Eloise “Ellie” Lysewell and (unnamed father), began their relationship as teenagers. They knew each other well before then and where close. Their relationship was really not exclusive or known to much, just two teens liking each other. Whether it meant something more and serious no one knew, even when their relationship ended before graduating.
She was conceived before her parent’s easy going smooth break up as she puts it, following that her mother Eloise had packed her bags and went to live in the mundane world before Jo was born and was not heard from for several months. Jo was born that year both her parents where 18 years old. But no one knew she existed, not even her father, even though he remarried and had two children of his own.
Growing up she had a normal childhood while living in the mundane world. She went to school, made friends and enemies. Although she never was raised amongst other shadow hunters and downworlders, Jo was not ignorant on their existence and kept seeing them even everywhere. Her mother has even took in a werewolf boy into her care and raised her as her son when Jo was a teenager and recently, in last couple years, took in an orphaned toddler, also a shadow hunter.
Jo began to purse her interest in music during her schooling and was in the choir, when she graduated from school she formed a band with some of her none of human friends. She may not have been raised the way as her parents, but she was still taught how to fight like a shadow hunter and still can keep up with one. But it meant the attraction of demons, since she was not marked as a baby as an Iron sister and Silent Brother, but she can repel them still. She believes it’s because of her faith in God, and the cross around her neck, and praying all the time.
Now, in the present, Jo is attending a muggle university in America and still keeps up her shadow hunter training, helping her mother around the house and with her family. She hangs out a local hang out place for the young adult age group, even plays her music there. But while her mother has been returning back to helping the shadow hunters with their current problem, Jo is still deciding if she wants to join or not.

The soft beating of her footsteps synced with the beating of her heart as this young woman walked along the streets back home, having just finished university for day, as she looked around with her eyes while walking. She saw many things and said nothing to almost everything she saw. Yes, her name was Johanna Lyse, mostly commonly known as Jo. Her last name was shortened by her mother, so Jo can live in peace, but her real last name was Lysewell. And Jo was a shadow hunter like her mother, and her father, and their parents before them. It was in this young girls blood.
Still she had no runes on her, thus she looked every bit mundane. But her eyes saw the truth...she can see other shadow hunters around in hiding from the eyes of human. Jo didn’t make a fuss, no would risk exposing them. Despite the lack of being around them she understood and knows almost everything.
Her attention shifted to the time on her watch, to see what the time was and how much time she had before meeting with her friends tonight. Jo liked to swim, it something she did almost every day, except on cold weathers. She exchanges that with jogging or some other type of exercise. Picking up the pace, with hands in her pockets, she walked faster to home. Wondering what her mother made for afternoon snack.
